If approved, your qualified physician issuing the medical marijuana recommendation submits it to the Florida Department of Health’s Office of Medical Marijuana Use (OMMU) on the same day. You’ll receive an email to finalize your online application and pay the $75 state office fee.

Many qualified patients can legally shop at a licensed medical cannabis dispensary the same day their recommendation is entered into the medical marijuana use registry.

Your physical registry identification card will arrive by mail within 10–15 business days. You can then legally purchase and fill your medical marijuana treatment from any licensed dispensary across Florida, securely delivered or picked up at convenient locations.
